In addition to its scientific importance, the cliff can also be appreciated for its beautiful and distinct natural life, with many rare birds, insects and plants.

A unique cultural history is also tied to the cliff. It was from here that the stones used in Absalon’s castle in Copenhagen were carved and shipped, and it was here that the military NATO complex of Stevnsfortet was carved into the limestone of the underground – a facility that remained operational throughout the Cold War.

LUCUS have worked with Østsjællands Museum since January 2011, and have during the span of the project worked with a number of tasks including technical consultants, concept developers, graphical designers - and last but not least as game designers.
