WHAT

We are cooperating with The Science Theatre to convey scientists research on life style. We convey their knowledge through theatre, music and an app.

HOW

Through a series of theatrical performances and an app, we help to convey a number of researchers research on lifestyle and lifestyle diseases to high school students across the country.

We have created an app that conveys scientific knowledge through a 30 minute long run-walk, where music and words telling and explaining runner, what happens in the body while running. Dissemination is set up with music and readings, while we try to talk about your run both on the social, individual and cellular level.

BACKGROUND

Videnskabsteatret contacted us in 2015 to offer us the opportunity to be at a very exciting and important project. To disseminate some of the most influential Danish researchers thoughts and studies on lifestyle and lifestyle diseases such as obesity, diabetes, etc. the Danish high school students. It is precisely the young people who might most need to hear what is new research that may help to make their quality of life higher. Dissemination come through a series of performances where high school students see and hear actors and musicians interpret researchers’ studies. Researchers have even and make presentations. After the performance, students can then download our app, made for the occasion and with the researchers’ content.
